I want to thank all of you who have joined us over the last... I don't know, about a year. Everyone who read and linked up and shared other blogger's posts. Thank you! Bunches and bunches! I have a treat for you... But first, let's talk about zombie makeup. You know, because Halloween.
Zombie makeup is really easy to do. If you're cheap and/or lazy, you don't even have to use actual Halloween makeup; you could just mix concealer with blue or gray eye shadow. Of course, I wouldn't dream of that, because my priorities are in order, but hypothetically, you could.
When you're doing zombie makeup, think outside the box. Don't be just a zombie. I've been a zombie for Halloween three times now. The first time, I was a zombie diner waitress, and my husband was a burned zombie mechanic. And you better believe we had a whole back story for our characters. The second time, you may have heard, I was a progressive zombie. Read about that here. Then, last year, my husband and I were Zombie Alice and Zombie Mad Hatter. See? Lots of different ways to do it. Don't be lazy.
And now for the treat. As my way of thanking you for being such loyal Theme Thursday readers, I did make a video. But it's not a quitting video. I'm going to teach you how to do zombie makeup. The video is really awkward because I recorded it on my phone, and I said "um" a lot, and there's a bunch of silence, and also I'm not wearing makeup at the beginning. Which is horrible for me and I sort of want to puke right now. But I think you'll enjoy it, because it's basically just 13 minutes of me making fun of myself.
